What GiLabs does
GiLabs starts from the business process, not from the tool. The first deliverable is never code: it is a map of your processes, the real end-to-end duration of each one, and the gain in hard euros for those worth reworking. You know what AI will return before you have spent a euro building it.
The method has three steps, in this order: map, prune, then automate. The order is not cosmetic. Automating a cluttered process does not speed it up, it multiplies it. So part of the gain you are shown cannot be bought, least of all from GiLabs: it consists of stopping things.
Development comes next, all the way into production inside your systems. AI agents, business applications, workflows, or AI built into the core of an existing .NET estate. No demo that ends up in a drawer.
Who is behind it
GiLabs was founded and is run by Yann Gilliot, a software engineer with fifteen years of designing, architecting and building enterprise systems in the Microsoft ecosystem: .NET, Azure, SQL Server. Microsoft Applied Skills AZ-2005 certified (Semantic Kernel agents).
The distinctive part fits in one sentence: whoever puts the numbers on the work is whoever writes the code. The diagnostic is not drafted by a consultant who then hands over. It commits the person who will build, which changes what an estimate is worth.
The evidence base is AI already running in industrial production, not a prototype: a document extraction pipeline that reads scans, corrects itself from human review, applies business rules and writes to the database, in daily use.
Who it is for
SMEs, mid-caps and structured professional firms: accountancy practices, law firms, notaries, architects, agencies. And mid-caps or software vendors carrying a .NET estate where AI has to go inside the code rather than sit beside it.
Headcount is not the criterion. Three conditions are: a process pain you can put a number on, a real project budget, and usable data. Without all three, an AI project produces a demonstration rather than a result, and it is better said before than after.
How an engagement works
Fixed fee, agreed in writing before the work starts, never time and materials. You know the amount and the scope before the first hour is worked.
The deliverables are yours: code, documentation, workflows. Automation is deployed in your environment, on building blocks you can take over, not in a black box you would be renting.
AI proposes, your business rules decide. Every run is logged, every decision carries a confidence threshold, and anything below the threshold goes to human review instead of being written into your data.
Where and in which languages
GiLabs is based in the Alpes-Maritimes and works across France and Monaco: on-site workshops for the mapping phase, development and follow-up remotely. Engagements are run in French or in English.
For regulated professions bound by professional secrecy, the whole processing chain is hosted inside the European Union.
